TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. The individual(s) signing this agreement certifies the above information to be true and accurate and that they are the legal Property Owners (“Owners”) having full legal authority to enter into this agreement and agrees to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions.
  2. The Owners consent to and accept this as written notice of Grasshopper Solar Corporation (""Grasshopper Solar"") obtaining, collecting, disclosing or exchanging any credit, personal or financial information (including Information related to transactions) from you, or about you, at any time, from, to or with any credit bureau, credit grantor, financial institution or other person in connection with any service arrangement you have with Grasshopper Solar or through Grasshopper Solar or you may wish to establish with Grasshopper Solar or with cooperative financial services organizations, affiliates and partners and from references you have provided to Grasshopper Solar.
  3. The Owners authorize Grasshopper Solar to access and inspect the Property Land and Structure (“Property”), upon at least a 24 hours notice to conduct a Technical and Financial Study and for purposes related to the installation of a Solar PV System.
  4. The Owners authorizes Grasshopper Solar to apply for a microFIT contract with the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), the Connection Application with the Local Distribution Company and other relevant agencies for the Property including the signing of all documents relating to these matters utilizing Owner’s Information for the purpose of installing a Solar PV System. Any and all acts carried out by Grasshopper Solar on the Owners behalf shall have the same effect as acts of Owners own. The Owners agree not to file, or authorize any entity other than Grasshopper Solar to conduct the aforementioned activities for a period of 6 months after the date of the filing of the OPA Application.
  5. The Owners acknowledge and understand that Grasshopper Solar cannot guarantee the suitability of the Property for the installation of a Solar PV System, the approval of the Connection Application or the microFIT application and that Grasshopper Solar may choose solely upon its discretion not to apply for either the Connection or microFIT application. The Owners understand that Grasshopper Solar shall proceed with the install of the Solar PV System only after the microFIT Application has been approved and the lease agreement has been executed.
  6. This Agreement may be executed in separate counterparts, including by means of facsimile or e-mail, each of which is deemed to be an original and all of which together constitute one and the same agreement.
  7. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.
  8. The Owners may cancel this agreement for any reason by sending Grasshopper Solar a written notice within 30 days of the date on this agreement at: 5995 Avebury Road – Suite 700, Mississauga, ON L5R 3P9
