One small article based on a customer view point has scared a lot of people and revealed a dark side to a great business. On Friday February 11th, 2001 an article appeared in The Star that gives the impression that people who have invested in solar power systems are getting ripped off. I can’t speak for any other company but I can speak for Grasshopper Solar.

We will not sell or install a solar power system anywhere in Ontario if the system cannot be connected to the grid.
We will refund your deposit money in the event we cannot get an approval to connect your Grasshopper Solar Power System to your local grid. We don’t believe in forcing you to buy a system that won’t earn the money you are counting on.
Yes there are people who have made investments that don’t know when they’re going to start earning their investment income. At Grasshopper we have no clients in that position and we’re not going to let that happen.
